How do you know you lost your virginity? |
[Edit] |
The loss of sexual virginity is a very ambiguous concept. It relies on what your personal definition of virginity is. By the traditional concept of a male being a virgin until he penetrates a woman's vagina or a woman being a virgin until she is vaginally penetrated by a man would conclude that all homosexual men and women are virgins even though they may have a healthy and active sex life, and that other forms of heterosexual encounters (such as sodomy) are not actually sex.
You could then conclude that there would be two definitions of virginity: The traditional concept which is stated above and a more broad concept that would state that a sexual encounter with a romantic partner that (most likely) involves penetration.
It's a tough concept to define, but basically if you have been penetrated (or have penetrated) a willing sexual partner in a very intimate fashion, you are not a virgin.
