Well, dont compare her verbally to other 4 year olds, just observe to see how she solves and comprehends situations and play time rituals with other children. You can get her tested. Your local public school should be able to test her for you or guide you to the proper educationsal authority on getting the tests done. My son is gifted and I did it through his school, they are in classes with a very accredited teacher and learn at a faster pace. My son is 12, 7th grade and does the school work of a 12th grader, it does make a difference for college too. Children are a joy to begin with a gifted child is a additional treat. Just make sure to let her maintain being a child in some aspects or she could burn out. Definately, enhance any area where you see special ability, especially the music and art area, science and aerospace is my childs love. Good luck
