How do you get console panels off to install a deck?

[Edit]

Answer

I just replaced the factory stereo in our 93 MX3. I didn't have to remove any dash panels. You need a tool to pull the stock deck out. I actually made my own with a clothes hanger. If you search "din tool" on google images, you'll see the two U shaped tools. You push the tools into the little holes on the front of the stereo. Ours had small rubber plugs in them. After you push the tool in, it will click into place. Then gently pull the stereo out and unplug it.

I also bought a harness connector and was able to plug the new JVC right into the Mazda harness. So when we sell the car some day, I'll be able to plug the factory stereo back in easily. Good luck.
