[Edit]

Answer

First check to see if something is physicaly holding down your pedal in the cab(floor mat Etc).please do this all while the vehicle is NOT running! Open the hood and find your carberator on top of the engine under your air filter. a cable or linkage will be attached to the side of it. check for obstructions in that area (binding, foregn objects etc) wiggle the lever its attached to and see if it is siezed in the carb or if the cable/linkage may be damaged. If its just sticks once in a while, try lubing all moving parts involved it the throttle operation. Goodluck! DATSUNS RULE!
