How do you fix a carbeurator when the float is sticking and overreving the motor on a yamaha blaster? |

Answer
The best thing that I have found is to take the carb off completely so that you can really get at it. If the float isnt going all the way up then soemthing is probably stuck in the hole that the little o-ring and needle are in. If the o-ring is missing or detiorated it will cause this also. Take the float assembly out and the needle on the little wire. Remember how it goes back on. Get some carb cleaner spray and a really thin piece of wire. Mechanics wire is what it is called I think. Spray the carb realy good and let sit for a minute in the spray. Then run the wire through all the little holes and crevices of the carb. I also use compressed air to further blow any deposits out of it. Once you are sure it clean. Then reassemble it. That should solve that problem. It always has for me. Hope this helps.
