How do you eat a pomegranate?

Slice the pomegranate on the 'ridges' into five parts. Scoop out the seeds and pop them in your mouth. 'Worry' the soft pulp that surrounds the seed off with your tongue and teeth and spit out the seeds.

Basically you take a knife (be careful) and cut it down the middle like an apple. There will be a good number of seeds on the inside. Like popcorn, you eat the seeds at your leisure. Once you have finished one layer, peel back the layer and more seeds will be underneath.

It is basically a cross between an apple and a tomato, eat the same way

OR...

You cut it in half. Pick up one half, holding the cut side over a bowl. Now take a spoon, wooden best, and smack the back of the pomegranate repeatedly and the seeds will fall into the bowl. This is the best way to remove the seeds.
