How do you care for frangipanni flowers once cut from the tree?

[Edit]

After some minor research, to care for frangipanni flowers, wash the stems carefully with a very mild bleach solution (1 teaspoon per gallon). This disinfects the stem and will prolong the life of the arrangement. Then cut the bottom of the stem about an inch and mash the cut tip slightly. This allows the woody fibers to absorb nutrients a bit better.

Now put it into a nutrient solution made of a teaspoon of sugar, a 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a quart of water. Enjoy!
