The above are good examples, especially the second one. Simply ask politely. In the beginning, nerves may make this feel overwhelming, but soon, once you get use to it, you'll have no problem at all. In the old days, before the advancement of technology, guys...and girls...would build up their confidence with a phone call following by an immediate hang-up! :D Now-a-days, this is not an option. :) It is kinda' like jumping in the pool rather than having an opportunity to build up to the comfort level. Most importantly, believe in yourself! Even if things don't go as you had hoped, you tried! That is essential to the living, learning, and growing process....and may lead you finally to that perfect someone in the future.
