How do we find inner peace? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Inner peace can only be achieved when we let go of anger, disappointments and regrets - all our negativity. All the while we harbor negative thoughts we let our gremlins chat away in our heads about how hard done by we are and how bad stuff only ever happens to us.
When you let go of the bad feelings, forgiving others and yourself in order to do so you overcome those negative voices and are able to concentrate on the good things in life - this is the road to Inner Peace but you have to work at it because it is always under construction.

Answer
Some find it through religion. Others seek inner peace through other means, i.e. yoga, meditation, etc. My personal opinion -- make peace with your past and then find your soul mate.
Answer
A Christian can have inner peace because God's Holy Spirit dwells in us, and the Bible says we can have the "peace that passeth all understanding".
Answer
As long as you are pre-occupied with worry and stress you will not find peace. Many people think that you need to achieve wealth or fame to become happy but this is not true. Happiness and peace is what you can feel right now, if you can be content with what you have right now. If you can't be content with what you have now, you will never be content with what you aim to have.
Here is my advice to find inner peace. Don't spend time thinking about fond memories in the past that you can't get back (for example childhood). Don't spend time worrying about future possibilities that are unpleasant - they are unlikely too. Do keep positive future plans in mind but do not stress how they will come about just be silently confident they are possible. Peace is about mindfulness, and about living in the right here and now. It is about appreciating what is around you in the present. Listen to what the people in your life have to say without giving advice or judging.
Answer
"How does anyone find inner peace?"
I am who I am. I am not you, and you are not me.
My life journey has taken me across hillsides, caves and jungles. Whereas yours may take you along the ocean shore. I am me, as you are you. I not to be compared to you and you are not to be compared to me. God has designed me as he has designed you to be who he means for you and I to be. He alone is our author. Release all toxic gases from your mind, spirit, heart, body and soul. Breathe...
THE SERENITY PRAYER
God, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change COURAGE to change the things I can and WISDOM to know the difference.

Your thoughs set up the model of what is to be created, and your emotions energize your thoughts and propel them from your inner would to your outer world. The stronger your emotions are, the more rapidly you create what you are thinking about. Your intent acts to direct your thoughts and emotions, maintaining a steady focus on what you want you will create what you get.
I belive that you can find inner peace by being true to yourself and telling someone about something if it's bothering you and Scientology has helped me to be more peaceful.
