How do snails know not to go in the road?

[Edit]

No Snails on the Road

  • It has something to do with the animal being able to sense the vibrations caused by the traffic on the road! Hence, keeps away!

  • Snails have an underbelly and they don't like roughness. Thus, that's why you will see them on the side of your house, on smooth surface and they also love to eat some of your plants. They prefer dampness and shady areas. I get them in my garden, off my house and the only reason they are on the road is because I put them there!

  • Because they see other animals get run over.
