God is almighty
God made Satan and He can destroy him whenever He wants.
Answer
1 John 4:4
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
Answer
Not sure what you mean as there is no "fiery place of torment",(what the churches call hell) Anyway, God is all powerfull, and even although "True Christians" are outnumbered, that makes no difference to the outcome, God will triumph over evil and those who cause it.
Satan remember is a creation, so although powerful, is nevertheless nothing, in comprison to the CREATOR.
"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
"But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace".(psalms 37;10-12)
Answer
What is seriously missed here is that nowhere is it written that believers will defeat any spritual forces. What is written and often overlooked is that it is GOD whom has defeated these forces. When one looks to see the definition of the hebrew word 'ha satan' one finds that there is no mention of any power given him at any time other than that which was 'authorized' him by GOD along with Job when he was allowed by GOD to do whatever he could except kill Job. The Hebrew words -ha satan- when properly translated into english mean 'the accuser' as in 'did you see what he did'. Keep in mind that YESHUA HA MOSHIACH said, "I give you power and -authority- over all the power of the enemy!" Note that there is no mention that the enemy has any authority. Whatever spiritual evil occurrs in a believers life is most likely the consequences of some other action. When we learn to quit running around and blaming someone else for our own shortcomings whe can then begin to truly see. Keep in mind that for every action there is a reaction.
To take your point 1. --"nowhere is it written that believers will defeat any spritual forces"
You are mistaken,Christians do fight a spiritual battle against very powerful opponents. (Romans 12:18) In the final chapter of his letter to the Ephesians, Paul described a fight in which every Christian is involved. He wrote: We have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
Those wicked spirit forces are Satan and the demons, who desire to destroy our relationship with God. To mention but one instance where it is written that believers will defeat spiritual forces.
2."there is no mention that the enemy has any authority"
Not true, there are many scriptures that tell us what "authority" the Devil has-- "
"the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.(1 john 5;19)
Jesus Christ referred to him as being the ruler of the world, the one whom mankind in general obeys by heeding his urgings to ignore Gods requirements. (John 14:30; Eph. 2:2)
When endeavoring to tempt Jesus Christ, the Devil brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time; and the Devil said to him: I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it. You, therefore, if you do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours. (Luke 4:5-7)
Revelation 13:1,2 reveals that Satan gives power, throne and great authority to the global political system of rulership.
Daniel 10:13,20 discloses that Satan has had demonic princes over principal kingdoms of the earth.
Ephesians 6:12 refers to these as constituting governments, authorities, world rulers of this darkness, wicked spirit forces in heavenly places.
3. "quit running around and blaming someone else for our own shortcomings"
The Bible shows that humans often bear much of the blame for the badness they experience, whether at the hands of other humans or as a result of their own conduct. (Eccl. 8:9; Gal. 6:7) Yet, the Bible does not leave us ignorant of the existence and devices of the superhuman foe who has brought so much grief to mankind. It shows how we can get out from under his control.
Answer
Reading Daniel from which Christ quotes in Matt 24 and if you now look at Rev:3
add 1 and 2 Peter and 2 Thessa. and 1 and 2John ,you will see that we are in those days as the seals are now open. But judgment starts at the house of God first.Satan is spirit and will always be spirit . There is no world or political union with Satan.Christ said as in the days of Noah and Lot so shall the end be -then sudden destrution. The end.Satan is the antichrist and is now in the churches as God is pouring out judgement for doctrines of men.The truth of the Bible will come from outside the church and many will be saved.also read Isaiah 49,65,66
Answer
If you replace the name 'Jesus" with "believers of the God of Abraham and Moses", then maybe you can generate enough allies to win the "war against hell".
Answer
Simply put "The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth!"
First Step
Is for all the different Christian denominations to stop bickering among themselves and unite.
Second step; depends on the outcome of the first step, perhaps never...
Answer
Who said the Christians were losing? Yes there is great evil in the world, but there are also some wonderful people in this world living a good life or doing great things for those less fortunate. The media usually reports the down-side of news so we seldom get to hear the up-beat things in the world. I'm a Christian and I don't feel we're losing at all
