Answer

My sister was told there was nothing to indicate their child was a boy, so she took a girl's outfit to the hospital and picked a girl's name. Their third child was NOT another girl. He is 17 years old now and 100% boy!

Answer

Hmm, I would take "nothing to indicate it is a boy" as "nothing to indicate it is NOT a boy" as well.

Ultrasounds have come a long way in 17 years but they are still not always able to see if it is a boy or a girl if the baby does not co-operate in its positioning. There is no other way to tell by ultrasound.
