Are all alcoholics abusive?

[Edit]

Answer

No. Most are, but some just sit there in a stupor or stay out all night at bars. Nonetheless, it is difficult living with an alcoholic. They can be moody, have health problems, be a drain financially and it's definitely not a good atmosphere for children. Besides that, it's a waste of life for the mate of the alcoholic. You can't force an alcholic to get help. They usually have to hit rock bottom to get the help, and even then, some are addicted to alcohol so badly they will go back to drinking.
