1998 Volvo S70 T5 Last night you opened the windows and now find them stuck in the down position This morning they moved a bit then stopped again There seems to be power as you hear a clicking noise?

[Edit]

Answer

If you can hear the motor spinning, could be a broken part on the movement transmision system or, if you are lucky, a loose component that supose to hold two parts together. If the motor is not running, is a very slim chance to be the motor itself; most likely is the switch on the door panel.
