Check the coil then. The spark originates at the coil and it distributed to the correct spark plug by the distributor. If you get a spark from the coil and not at the plugs then there is something wrong at the distributor. If you are getting no spark from the coil, then check to see if it's getting power. If it is then replace the coil.

the coil is internal in the distributor, if the distributor worked in another civic, then something would be wrong with your wiring or ecu. check your ecu, once you acces the ecu, when you first turn your ignition on the ecu will flash once, that will tell you if the ecu is getting power, next check your fuses. sounds simple. and last try checking your timing, might be so far out, when it is time to spark it will miss.
