1994 dodge 250 conversion van how much to change water pumpim stuck 7 hours from home?

Sounds all too fimiliar.... Just dealt with the same problem on a 93 conversion 6 hrs from home . I got quoted 300 to 600 depending on how much hose and othr unforseen obstacles might be ran into .I drove home stopping about 20 times with the heater cranked and am now trying to figure out how to change it my self. I read some dodge pulleys can't be changed without airt tools if any body knows about htis please let me know and good luck on this.
